In the dining room you will find the puddings fridge, this is managed by Jane our puddings cook, in it you will find a mix of traditional puddings such as fruit crumble, bread and butter puddings as well as meringues, roulade, mousses and lemon tarts to name a few, and if none of these fit the bill there is always cheese and biscuits!. There is a selection of ice cream flavours, these come from "Dairy Dreams" a local farm making ice cream on the farm from their own milk.
SUNDAY CARVERY
Sunday lunch is a carvery, from 12.30 onwards, a choice of two roasts, beef is normally one of them. Yorkshire puddings roast and boiled potatoes and a choice of three vegetables. Normally there is a choice of three vegetarian dishes also available.
Our chef has other dishes available for those who suffer with allergies and other special dietary requirements. We do appreciate a little prior notice if possible for these dishes.
We are members of the Shropshire Hills Sustainable Business Scheme and food sourcing is a key part of this scheme. We buy our meat from a local butcher, who is also the farmer producing the meat, we buy our vegetables from the town market. We try to source as much food and drink as we can from within Shropshire to give visitors a "taste of Shropshire" and reduce our "food miles". SUNDAY CARVERY
