Adrian and Kate took over the Inn On The Green, Wentnor at the end of February 2011 and aim to provide a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, catering for families, walkers and cyclists alike. The pub lies in the picturesque Onny Valley at the base of the Long Mynd, approximately 6 miles from the small market town of Bishops’ Castle and approximately 20 miles from the historical town of Shrewsbury.

Ideal base for exploring the Shropshire Hills and many nearby towns and villages such as Church Stretton, Ironbridge, Clun and Ludlow. With the Welsh border only 5 miles away access to Snowdonia and the North Wales Coast is in easy reach for an extended day out.
